Published compatibility primitives include P-256 ECDH/ECDSA, HKDF-SHA-256 and AES-256-GCM.
Device vault protection uses PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256 and AES-256-GCM with parameters recorded in the applicable interoperability specification.
Supported media protection uses authenticated SFrame-compatible encryption, HKDF-SHA-512 and AES-256-GCM.
The same published encryption properties apply to free and paid subscriptions; commercial plans do not purchase stronger privacy.
